Singer Will Young dodge a notorious 18th century who became a national scandal about a radio drama is revealed in his first starring role. The Pop Idol winner will perform the husband of Mary Toft, who convinced doctors in 1726 that she had given birth to a succession of live rabbits.
Young said, "I was lucky enough to have a great group of people behind and in front of the microphone".
The drama's director, Celia Wolff, said: "He approached his first radio role with great enthusiasm, boundless energy and most importantly true professionalism, learning a few tricks of the trade along the way."
